As a result of this single-minded, hard to justify, and almost fanatical pursuit of this very unpopular Healthcare bill by the current Administration, it’s hard Not to believe that there are possibly powerful and influential forces at work that are intent on ensuring that this bill becomes law, come what may and at whatever cost and sacrifice.

You don't have to look under rocks to find out who benefits. The Democrats figure that if they can turn the whole citizenry into government clients through health care, it's their ticket to permanent power -- it will haul the entire political arena to the left as every budget debate becomes a National Healthcare debate.
