I have ALWAYS maintained that PAYGO is but one (and a fairly MINOR) of the MANY things that we must do to ever have hope of beating our addiction to chronic federal deficits.

And you are not telling me anything I don't already know when you say this latest (watered-down... but the best that was possible after Congress' flip-floppers gutted the main act) deficit reduction bipartisan commission is not the end-all, be-all.

But if we continue to oppose EVERY SINGLE EFFORT then we will sink beneath the waves....
