Koan, I know you wear the twin labels "logic" and "reason" like badges, but you really have no idea the kind of verbal irony you made in that post: "No myth ended slavery, reason ended slavery." Imagine if the myth is that there is no God. Imagine if reason helps people recognize that true slavery is bondage to depravity. If you think the visible world and a bunch of fundamental physical laws is all there is to life, maybe you're the one fooling yourself. I know all this will be meaningless babble to you, especially since you seem all too comfortable with the notion that the "intelligentsia" will back you up.
