... you don't know one couple without children??? As it happens most of the married folks that live around me, are related to me, work with me .... etc, have kids. But what I was getting at that is though I can think of a couple across the street from me that don't have kids (they're young), I don't know of any couple that have broadcast their intention to remain childless forever. Thats very strange as is the claim there are 3 couples like that on your block. Have they really told their neighbors of that ... and why would they? It happens that some folks do end up remaining childless but whether its planned or not, who knows. It wasn't like they went around from neighbor to neighbor....maybe the subject came up at a barbecue....one couple didn't tell me directly but I heard it from a neighbor. Its hardly a major issue. And my neighbors may change their minds.....my German friends did and their first baby is due any day now. Most women will want kids at some point in their lives especially when they hear the biological clock ticking. Sometimes they screw up their personal relationships and don't get them. Apparently lots of people function as both hetero and homo in various times in their lives. Huh? Who tells you this crap? Rush? No, just observing Ann Heche is an example of such a person. Name me ten more. Sorry, I can't even list that many gay people at all. The existence of people like Heche kind of flies in the face of biology as destiny though. So I see you need to call her an idiot and malign her for not being true to her .... sexuality or whatever. I call her an idiot because of the way she treats people. Who has she treated badly? Ellen? How do you know Ellen didn't treat her badly? I think your big problem with Heche is just her disloyalty to gaydom. Because they don't flip flop.....its emotionally draining. Heche is an opportunist....she was trying to jumpstart her career. But Heche DID flipflop. Yes. Because she didn't need Degeneres any more. How could we know that? Maybe they just didn't get along. If she was faking being gay to advance her career, doesn't that imply that at least in show biz being gay is a favored situation? Not at all. Most actors hide their sexuality because of people like you. Maybe they don't want to get type-cast. Maybe they just want to keep their life private. The fact openly gay folks like Ellen can have successful careers and that gays can be treated sympathetically in shows would indicate its not a horrible cross to bear nowadays.
