They seem to think that by voting for Obama, the slate was wiped clean and things returned automatically to the way they were pre Bush. I don't think that people expected the slate to be automatically wiped clean. But that they expected Obama to try to wipe it clean, if not the deficient then the war. But the right doesn't like the fact he has increased spending and the deficient, and the left doesn't like the fact he is continuing Bush's war efforts. The right doesn't like it because some white butt kisser isn't in there cutting your taxes.
