Mindmeld, > I determine what is moral based on my internal moral compass. Doesn't everyone?

No one just "grows" an internal moral compass in a vacuum. It is nurtured. It is developed. It is taught. It is guided. It is formed by ideas, by books, by articles, by speeches, by personal experience, by emotions, by prayer.

That's how you determine what is moral. Basing morality on what you feel like is a recipe for disaster. Humans are experts at deluding themselves.
