Good post over at Protien Wisdom;

“The Shaping of the American Mind: The Diverging Influences of the College Degree & Civic Learning on American Beliefs”

It shows how lousy a job liberal academia is doing teaching students about Civics, etc. It tested folks widely & found,

<<< Seventy-one percent of Americans failed this basic test. The overall average score was only 49%, with college graduates also failing at 57%. >>>

Some of their major findings are eye opening;

While College Fails to Adequately Transmit Civic Knowledge, It Influences Opinion on Polarizing Social Issues

I took the test. So can you here.

I'm disappointed in my score - 28 out of 33 correctly — 84.85 % even though I'm well above average with college grads & folks taking the test this month [77%].

If you take the test be advised, a few of the questions are worded in a way that might lead you to select the wrong answer. If you're initially stumped, take your time & read it closely. Had I done so I would have gotten 3 more correct.
