Bush's father actually took aim at the deficit by breaking his "read my lips, no new taxes" pledge... and Clinton had the good sense to keep the momentum going. Little Bush... well... anyone with a brain knew exactly what the end result of Bush's economic policy was going to be.

If bush had just followed Clintons lead we would almost be out of debt.
