Jedi, keep in mind that these sub $1,000 computers are darn good machines. Probably 166 pentiums with 16 meg ram, and 1 gig HD, modem and cd rom. Really all that most people need. A lot of us get hung up in computer power, but the above described machine is a fine computer. will do games, word processing, internet, aol, very well. The biggest buyers will be first time users, college kids, households who want a second computer for the kids, or for mom and dad. Of course, i want a P II, would settle for 266 instead of 300, 64 ram, 4 or 6 gig HD, 20" monitor, ggg. Larry
