Exactly. The Republicans, for the last 100 years, have systematically, and callously, enriched the rich at the expense of the middle class and poor.
As well, the Republicans have introduced insanity, greed and despotism starting with the early 20th century robber barons into our society which we pay for over and over.
Early 20th centruy ndustrialists, Hoover and the great depression, opposing social security and medicare, Joe Macarthy, red baiting, Viet Nam War, refusal to tend to the environement and always war mongering.
The Republican's are a scourge to our country.
And perfect symbols are Nixon, Raygun, Tom Delay, Dick Cheney , bush's and all the neo cons.
So we finally elect a good president except he does not seem to understand the fight at hand. |
