No no...sorry. It's a human condition, not an economic one...I am not as concerned about the economic condition because, I would submit to you, we already pay the bill for those who are uninsured by choice, those who are already covered by Medicaid but haven't bothered to sign up, and those who are briefly between policies, and those who don't qualify for Medicaid but can't afford to commit half their income to insurance of any kind.

Bill Moyers quoting the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation: "The uninsured suffer from negative health consequences due to their lack of access to necessary medical care. "

Lane, you are too focused on the semantics of a word...here's what folks like Moyers are concerned about.

I don't know what the number is, but it's not zero. For the folks who have no coverage, for whatever reason, it's not strictly complete lack of access, but if their outcomes end up in the stats of the Harvard/CDC study, it may as well be.
