I agree with you Bill -- up to a certain point. There are some cities I would not want to be in or even too close to... Some of them were previously mentioned.

But like I said before, if one is going to be isolated, one needs a heavily guarded fortress with expert marksmen and plenty of ammo...

That would keep the marauding packs of looters out, but if the government is gone (which started this whole conversation), there would be no protection from what took its place.
