How about how people feel here compared to how they feel in the much maligned Canadian health care system?

How is that responsive to "most studies are crap"?

As for Canadians, sure, most of them are satisfied with their health care. Likewise, most Americans are satisfied with their health care. Same with the French, etc. People all over are generally satisfied with what they get from their systems. What does that tell you that is useful for comparing the various systems? Not much.

"say they have access to and can afford all the healthcare services they need"

This underscores the fact that "access" is not a binary condition

What it does is make my point for me. It agrees that they have access but the health care to which they have access may not be affordable. Access vs affordability. I rest my case on the hyperbolic use of the word, "access."
