"brave" on Sunday for launching a one-man filibuster of unemployment benefits, arguing that they dissuaded people from going out and finding work. continued... huffingtonpost.com ----------------------------- With this downturn hitting middleclass and professional people, I don't see how this can be a winning stategy. the 'welfare queen' thing worked as it was about the 'other'. I don't see a college educated professional being amused at being considered a slacker who would rather get unemployment than get a job.
