Their idea of civilization is that they are totally dominant with all infidels compliant with Islamic Jihad's edicts under Sharia law. No thanks. I have a different idea of what comprises civilisation and it doesn't include them telling me how to live.

It's odd because the only Iranians I know are vastly more civilized than the disgusting and barbarian American animals who were in the room across the hall from me, our son and the Iranian maths professor who was a very pleasant man.

There must surely be some civilization lurking around Iran if it was allowed out.

I also owe my financial livelihood to an Iranian, Allen Salmasi, who merged his business with Qualcomm's which funded CDMA development. people.forbes.com Perhaps he was Iranian in the same way that Albert Einstein and Adolf Hitler were both German.

The reason Iran wants nuclear reactors is to make atomic bombs and their primary declared enemy is Israel [apart from The Great Satan].
