Most companies would love to have that "problem."

Wal-mart probably affects more of the American economy than GM. Sure, retailers are a dime a dozen, with low barriers to entry (before Wal-mart, of course), but then again Wal-mart affects the economies of all 50 states. GM only affects the Midwest, mainly Michigan.

The point is that if GM is "too big to fail," so is Wal-mart.
