OOPS, I think I severely MISJUDGED where you were coming from.

I AGREE that all those things ARE significant and should be addressed.

I'm not sure that ANY of our news services really report on those issues adequately.

As to answers, I can only think that an EMPOWERMENT of women in the third world would help tremendously on a couple of those issues.

As to water, it appears that that will become the "new" oil in geopolitical strife in the next 50 years.
