Tim, I was in construction in the "early 80's" and I can TELL YOU that that was a CAKEWALK compared to what we are looking at today. Back then you knew you just had to survive the period of high interest rates and you'd be right back at it. It's a LOT different now. There's no DEFINITIVE thing for people to look at. Interest rates are at all time lows and FED money is as loose as it's ever going to be so things can probably only get worse. I don't see any impetus for unemployment to get better any time soon. We're going to have to restructure our entire economy. That will be HARD and the folks that have the guts to do it aren't going to be real popular with the voters. We need some people that will actually tell the truth and take the HIT. Can we get those people in our political system....I don't know.
