75% of the money we spend on oil goes overseas. Why are you against making sure that money stays home? Oil independence is a sure way to make this country more economically and nationally secure. Again, oil is a global resource, so your sentences don't make any sense. "Oil independence", whatever that means, has nothing to do with economic and national security.
