Orrin Hatch is from Utah. MSFT caused the downfall of Word Perfect and Novell which put a pretty large dent in Utah's software industry. I am not surprised that this senator would be out to get MSFT. However, I'm quite sure that Senators such as Slade Gordon from Washington State see things in a different light.
