Dear Jim ; Welcome to the thread ..please please bookmark....can I, May I, carry your stewardship discussion one step further. Please read Luke 16 1-8. The Lord commended the unjust steward. There was nothing the master could do; because the debtors would stand by the steward. The master could not prove the new contracts were not the old ones In Luke 16:19 Christ says NO NO NO don't think you can make friends like this and think that the ANGELS will take your soul to paradise. The master in this parable is not necessarily supposed to be God, but I feel you could stretch it and say so.........What God is saying is that the children of darkness are wiser in their sphere than the children of light are in the sphere they exist in but my question to you is this........if the unjust steward was commended then what is GOD saying to YOU and ME........ In Christ.........anything you can contribute will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.......keep this thread in your prayers and please bookmark.................gregor
