OT:

What you really meant when you wrote "when Obama said 57 states, what he really meant was 57 electoral contests in the primaries" was that Obama is an inarticulate buffoon unless someone tells him what to say. (Putting words into people's mouths works both ways.)

We're already on a very sharp economic rebound.

Where are the jobs? Or is this one of those famous jobless recoveries that the media is so fond of whining about when a Republican is in the Whitehouse?

I humbly disagree with you.

My worry though is that we purchased the recover with new debt and unsustainable deficits.

Government cannot purchase a recovery. Every dime that government spends comes out of growth.

Inflation is coming along with this

Yes, when government borrows on the scale that the Obama/Pelosi Administration has inflation is a forgone conclusion.

I think we'd better get used to 10% unemployment as a permanent feature of our economic landscape, unless we find some new, massive growth industry to grow our way out of this mess

That is easy. Lower taxes and reduce government intervention into people's lives. The growth industries will identify themselves.
