MDVN tanked on March 3 after it and PFE said dimebon, the drug they had on a PIII for ALZD failed to show statistical significance compared to placebo in cognition and global function, which were the primary and secondary targets.<g> On previous PIII, dimebon had been shown to be well tolerated and to have no safety concerns. The stock had been trading at an all time high of $40.49, just a little above its Jan H of $39.30 and its Dec H of $39.66 and on its daily chart, stochastics had already given a warning sign and had been on a negative trend since Feb 22 after been above the 80 level since Feb11 <g> Now the stock is trying to find support at the $11.83 to $12 level and stochastics dipped below the 20 level yesterday,but are still above the 10 level, which is from where the last up-move started on Feb 1 <g> bigcharts.marketwatch.com MDVN had been trimming some its losses and the EL for 2009 is around $1.43 vs. the $2.12 loss in 2008 and for 2010 a further trim of the loss to around $0.70 had been expected.<g> The stock closed up 4.63% today and volume was >2x its ADV, but it didn't do well AHS.<g> Bernard
