Just a short 2-bits worth.... AMS will have it's work cut out for itself in this "bear" junior gold market. Today is a good example. A pretty decent news release, and where did the stock price go? A stagnant 20-21 pennies. In today's trading world investors want facts. Merely stating the Hydra-Hercules property has a good chance of having a million oz plus potential is simply that...heresay. Oh yes, the "property" has potential. Gee, I've heard that before....yup. Obviously I hope the Nevada property produces some excellent results...but it'll be a wait yet. Furthermore, there has been a lot of talk about financing and possible jv in Brazil or property acquisitions. A lot of people seem to think once these "deals" are made, the stock price will head up to $0.75-1.00 - wouldn't it be great :-) - but I wouldn't be so quick. Obviously $$$$ will mean AMS and Mr. Doppler will have the paper resources to run an adventurous ship, but that's all for the short term. Even with IBK money, a good oz count in Nevada, and Brazil exploration potentials, I STILL see the stock trading no more than 40 pennies. Until we see some excellent drill results from Nevada or some other properties - if they get the money to do so - our lovely AMS will be in a low trading range. Let's be honest here...there are SO many junior stocks out there trading at 15-35 pennies - they were 1,2, or 3 bucks in January/February! Which one does an investor pick??? Gold stocks are heavily tarnished right now. Like AMS, they are trying to get properties going with exploration money. Time and patience is key. I see AMS a 4-6 month play MINIMUM before it starts rolling. Just my two pennies worth. Regards, Wats |
