Mark, I don't want to take up PRLN space talking about another biotech, but maybe a discussion will instructive. I clearly don't have all the answers, but after spending a little time looking at VMRX I have some opinions. All stocks not in Chapter 11 are "good stories". Yes VMRX is a "chart technical" trading play, but they are a "johnny 2 (maybe 3) note" that would get killed if their trials go south. Their main HIV drug is very toxic compared to PRLN. PRLN is a multidimential company where their strength is their signal transduction technology, not a couple of drugs. The VMRX HepC product looks interesting, but could easily get easily displaced by others. The cancer drug is too far out. Maybe I am reading VMRX wrong? PRLN has a concept very different than the typical druggies, TCM. That is what intrigues me about them. I know that I said that biotechs are just trading plays and I violate my own rules on investing by "loving" PRLN. It may be a money stupid thing to do, but I feel much safer owning PRLN than I would VMRX, chart play or not. Mark, I sure would like to hear your opinion on PRLN. I don't know of any "Masters" here.
