And Eric's responses were pretty interesting. I had no idea that ground meat from one animal could contaminate ground meat from another animal. Worse than that I've seen meatloaf and chili recipes that combined beef, pork, even venison .... think of that, inter-species contamination. And what about surf and turf? Seafood and beef together on the same plate, contaminating one another! I still wonder why the organic food people don't wear only organic clothing too. And why people who shudder at "frankenfoods" are willing to wear "frankenfibers" and use "frankenmaterials".
