KT,

The US is not going to be the best at EVERYTHING. We don't win every Olympic gold either. What are we, 5% of the world?

I have a friend whose daughter is suffering from a complex disorder that is probably genetic, but it's not totally clear. It's a terrible situation. He has been to every super elite doctor in the US and they can't help.

It turns out that for some strange reason people in Finland have a much higher occurrence of this disorder than any other country. So their research on the matter is better than in the US. So he is having those doctors run genetic tests etc...

I am sure there are loads of things like that because this a world of billions of people with different issues, different treatment approvals etc.... The US is only a small part of it. But on a net basis, the very best health care at the highest levels is clearly in the US.
