Koan, > That is not what science says. Science has never found such a thing to be true, i.e. a deep contrast between hallucinations and spiritual experiences.

So people who've had spiritual experiences are fooling themselves?

I've known several people who lived the life of drugs, alcohol. They know what hallucinations are all about. They also underwent a spiritual experience to break the addictions.

I'm sure they know what the difference is.

If you want to tell them they're still experience "hallucinations" every time they pray to God, be my guest.
