Your point about unpredictability is conceded. Yet 37 years ago France decided to go nuclear, and electrified. We know the outcome of the hybrid approach WRT telecomms in South Korea and Japan. Outcomes are indeed unpredictable - but one can plan for survival, no matter what the outcome. The divide in approaches is clear, and already we see divergences in which we lag. The future is unprovable, and we're moved by theories that border on ideology. Common sense is devalued. Jim
