Koan, the people I know who overcame addiction via spiritual transformation are all well-educated and come from middle and upper-middle class families. Education does not overcome addiction, or else the Ivy League universities would not have to deal with it. Poverty and lack of education can exacerbate the problem, but my experiences prove to me that these two factors are insufficient to address the entire problem. You need to go deeper than what cold science can address. Tenchusatsu
