I have do a ponokee here. The police who catches bandidos is a brach different form traffic cops. They try to find violations to get propina. You give no propina, they heerd you over to traffic cop to fine you. They take your papers to police station, you lose half day paying and getting your papers back. They are "manufacturing" violations to get propinas. Like the local youth washes my car and asked for payment. I told them not to wash since it is forbidden to wash car on the streets. But that applies only to white people. They parked and waited and took me to polcie station since I refised to pay. after this weekend I had enough. Asked other Brazilians they all have copies and hand them over to police. I am forced to do the same after more than USD500 expenses and waste of time.
