Well, Hugh, I think you must have a short memory, because the GOP talked alot about bipartisanship and lamented the degradation of the "comity of the Senate", to put it into McCain's terms, but then they went on to pass their agenda by hook or by crook. With Tom DeLay, it was mostly by crook. So the GOP was notorious for acting in a "bipartisanship be damned" manner.

As I recall Dashall was stopping everything he could. But you are right about one thing the GOP got much of their stuff passed. The democrats are apparently too incompetent to get stuff passed.
