The Congressional Budget Office says the $875 billion, 10-year plan would provide coverage to 31 million people who'd otherwise be uninsured. And it says the cost would be more than offset in savings from changes in Medicare and other programs.

What this statement really means is that 31 million people who were not eligible for Medicaid because the Govt says they can afford to buy their own healthcare, will not be covered at the expense of reduced care and benefits from cuts to Medicare that people have paid into at 4% of their earnings for their entire lives.

This is exactly the same as putting 31 million on Medicare, who didn't pay into Medicare their entire working lives. Hmmm, something for nothing!

Also does the CBO estimate include the soon to be legal, illegals piling on for their share of free healthcare. Bet that 31M number is 50M too low.
