Re: [It is the 'never will happen in a zillion years way'.] "Even if that's true, its still the only way."

Wrong.

Not "the only way" to force an end to chronic deficit spending.

(In fact, as you know, i argue that there are many policies to pursue that can be beneficial toward achieving the goal of an end to deficit spending... with the highest and BEST of them new language for our constitution.)

Re: [even if MIRACLES DID HAPPEN in this regard... there would be ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN PLACE that would PREVENT the very next bunch from OVER-TURNING it all and deficit spending again.] "And even if we pass the changes you want there will, over the long run at least, be nothing to prevent the next bunch from over-turning (or working around, or ignoring, or using loopholes, or having some judge declare it invalid or mean something other than what its supposed to mean) it all and deficit spending again."

REGARDLESS of the TRUISM that you are stating (that 'nothing is impossible')... it still REMAINS A FACT that overcoming or otherwise ignoring a CLEAR CONSTITUTIONAL PROHIBITION would be much, much more difficult than overcoming most any other change... especially overcoming the transitory results of a mere election....
