Gendercide, right. To have even a moderately respectable apocalypse in modern times we require a host of extra young men who have no prospects for family life to present them selves globally ... looks like we're nearly there. Extrapolate 120/100 for the past few 10 year generational cycles and see what you get. If you start from 1980 (108/100) and come up to 2010 (130/100) you should be able to guestimate. You can factor out the regions that have more normal birthrate ratios (not many left) but I think we can agree, there are plenty available for the task. Hard to believe this all started by our attempts to manipulate populations to be more balanced.
