The only thing I don't like ( common to funds), is not being able to time an entry point.
Hi Kenny - Yeah, or exit for that matter. Schwab requires order entry by 11AM for execution at that days close, but you have no control over the price. What irritates me about Fidelity is their 4% load, my drilling portfolio is going like gang busters but the FSESX shares I bought are still working off the 4%, grrrr. Should have stuck with FSTEX - no load. Those two Janus funds are fantastic. I sold off half of JAWWX to raise cash for this latest drillers run, but my other half is still chugging away.
Sorry about your snow situation. You should have been in Denver a week and a half ago <g>. We're still sitting pretty with 70 degree weather, no rain on the horizon yet. Haven't been any bears in the Oakland hills for about 60+ years, but we get lots of deer, skunk, raccoon, opossum, and fox. The deer are especially fond of newly planted flowers (mine) - I often wish firearms could be discharged in the city, venison is awful good eating... About five minutes drive from here on the eastern side of the hills where I go for Chanterelle mushrooms, I saw mountain lion sign last year (devoured deer carcass). Makes me a little nervous mushrooming, hunched over and crawling around in the bushes, but I refuse to pay $16 a pound for mushrooms I can collect for free.
Congrats on ROH, nice move! Wish I had listened to you instead of sticking with RSO, but they should spud their next well shortly... We shall see. Too many stocks, not enough money...
