Yeah, I also liked the 'Cuse... But they may have peaked too early with all of those big wins over top ranked teams.

Anyway, there doesn't appear to be any team that will be favored to run away with the title. Every game should be a battle, except for maybe some of the #1 versus #16 or #2 versus #15 (seeds). But even there, maybe it's upset city for some one. Who knows?

Who's got the momentum right now? Who's peaking? Marquette? Butler? Even Notre Dame looked good in the Big East tournament.

Even trying to pick the #1 seeds is tough. I would guess that Kansas, Kentucky and Syracuse have as much of a lock on a #1 seed as any other teams. But that last seed? In the western USA, New Mexico is likely the best team, but with 3 losses and a schedule nowhere near as tough as some other teams back east, it's possible that they won't get the #1 seed. So the last #1 seed will probably be in the West bracket, and the likely contenders are Duke (5 losses), Purdue (4 losses) and Ohio State (7 losses). Teams with an outside chance would be Brigham Young (4 losses), Gonzaga (5 losses), UTEP (5 losses), Butler (4 losses) and West Virginia (6 losses). Using the theory that no conference will get 2 #1 seeds this year, that means that New Mexico has a better shot at #1 than it might have in other years. At least, that's my guess. If not New Mexico, then Duke or longshot special Butler.

Anyone else have an opinion"
