It's amazing how inefficient Obama looks, but seriously, he did remove a lot of tension from the world, and has totally changed many people's perception of USA, to the better.

It can be difficult for Americans to understand how Bush could be guilty of setting USA=evil in the heads of so many, but he did. Even the most respectable European government official had difficulties to explain, how anybody should believe anything from the U.S. government, after seeing Colin Powell lie about Iraq. No European politician could use information from USA to gain votes. I know a Danish guy who worked in an international HQ office of a very large company in Europe, and he was almost frozen out of social contexts after Denmark joined the U.S. invasion in Iraq, because Denmark+UK+U.S. were suddenly labeled "unreliable". During the financial crisis, this definitely made it hard to hard for European politicians to back up the U.S. strategy. This has changed with Obama.

However, even though I will benefit from Obama's healthcare plans because of the business that I'm in, I'm not sure that I would vote for it, if I were an American. And Obama says that the healthcare plan is more important than his presidency...
