I like AMAT - they are expanding like crazy here in the Valley and in Austin, Texas, I believe.

Once the 300 mm wafer conversions begin, in 1999/2000 time frame, AMAT should go into orbit. Remember - older fabs will have to be converted to remain competitive - so brand new fab construction is not a prerequisite for AMAT's business to boom again.

And these conversions will require essentially ALL NEW 300 mm equipment.
