You got that right. But Americans are going to need to start figuring out what they want and start paying for it. Bush wanted two wars, so we went to war. But he decided we didn't need to pay for those wars, so we borrowed the money instead. That was the first time in history that America has done that. Bush then added insult to injury to our finances, when he decided to throw down two tax cuts during the middle of two wars. What in hell was he thinking? That was a guarantee of massive deficits.

So the GOP has never seen a tax cut they didn't like. Then the Dems come along and do what they do best, which is spend money and grow government.

On the one hand, you have the GOP cutting taxes so that our tax revenues dwindle to nothing and on the other you have Dems increasing spending. So again, we're screwed.

We need to CUT spending and we need to INCREASE taxes. That is just fiscal responsibility. But we don't have any fiscally responsible people left in this country. All we have are ideologues.
