I agree that the recession is going to get worse before it recovers.

The best governments in recent history are the ones with split power. If all three of the law generating parts of government are under single party control restraint seems to wane.

I am sure that in 2011 and 2012 Republicans will behave. If Obama doesn't moderate after losing Congress then we will have Republican control of the Whitehouse, Senate and Congress. That will be bad.
