<it is YOUR choice how and where you spend your resources to educate your child> That is bull-crap -- my daughter is simply fortunate enough to live among the rich -- many of whom would be delighted to turn around and screw the children in other parts of the city out of similar funding for their schools if it would save them a dime. The school my daughter goes to is the poster child for what is wrong with America in general. America is not the land of the free -- it is not the land of equality and liberty. America is the home of the special interest, the powerful and the rich. It is home to "screw you Jack' so long as I have got mine you can die for all I care".

I once played golf with a very wealthy man who held a very high position in a well-known company. He hit his ball into a stream where a poor kid from a local area was fishing out balls to sell. As I got to the stream I heard the man say to the boy -- give me that ball or I will come in there and break f'ing little neck -- that is what America has become -- the land of the rich belly-aching about how the poor are a bunch of bums and endlessly whining about how they hate being 'forced' to help others.
