The thing about SKYW is that it flies for Delta/United, and when/if Delta or United puts the squeeze on SKYW at contract times, then it's possible the stock swoons. I don't know when contracts expire, but I've held an airline whose contract was yanked, the stock cratered, and I said no more. SKYW might be invaluable to Delta and United, might have long time to go before contract renewal, and does seem to have pretty decent numbers. For me though, I'll avoid.
"The company operated a fleet of 449 aircrafts, of which 258 were assigned to Delta Air Lines, 186 were assigned to United Air Lines, 3 were assigned to Midwest Airlines, and 2 were assigned to AirTran Airways." |
