Yeah, I noticed how well it worked for Raygun, turning a 50B deficit into a 200B one. Didn't work quite as well for Shrub the father, who only doubled it, but, then, his tenure was only half as long, so it's more or less equal.

OTH, Clinton raised rates, ran a surplus. There's a lesson there somewhere.
