bjp, The issue is GTW needed a sub 1000 set of pc's . their WS and server has to go overseas first.
I'm buying allot of pc's , just need p166 and p200 for 90% of employees and my advanced relational database apps run on those, including rf data collection, touchscreen data collection, edi, internet, intranet, extranets,groupware, buyer stations..
I only need p266 for engr's and power users.
At home it's become everything to family, parents doing work, kids doing homework, internet, investment knowledge as well as the stuff you mentioned.
Home needs maybe one super pentium then the other 1 or 2 can be cpq's $799 p180 loaded pc.
I think we are saying close to same thing but you don't seem to be saying allot of the keywords someone that was realy doing this stuff would say.
It's simple...gtw's ws AND server CAN'T CRACK usa. THEY HAVE TO GO OVERSEAS. Then they need a selction of low cost home pcs.
by the way, the cyrx chip does video well enough and cpq now has a p166 MMX pc for sub 1000.
