Can't disagree with that. Someone who is racist may well not make any racist remarks. But you can't draw any conclusions from that about the converse. You can't conclude from someone's failure to make racist remarks that any criticism he makes is racially motivated.

Typically when you call a politician a socialist it's because you think he's a socialist. Or it may be simply because you think that the characterization will damage him and you're not picky about how you win.
