Even the idea a special deal is justified for LA because of Katrina is nuts. Katrina was years ago Absolutely nuts. Please recall my wife and I did volunteer work in Louisiana and Mississippi for over a month immediately after Katrina. Mississippi suffered a far greater loss and never started with the crying and begging. They pulled together, took care of each other, and fixed what needed to be fixed. Louisianans want us to pay for a lifetime of lifestyle. Mississippians only wanted a temporary helping hand. Guess which state has a republican leader.
