Richard, I was under the impression that the compassionate use trial was being increased to 100 patients. Is your 500 number correct? When I talked to PRLN, I had the feeling (no direct knowledge) that they may be having trouble getting patients. It may be hard to convince patients that they should risk the last few months of their life on drugs hyped by a professor of veterinary medicine that have been around for 2000 years. Dr. Babish's comment to me about expanding the trial through medical schools was the hint (the poor are helped (?) through schools). Comments?
