3/19/10 Update
The week ended with a quadruple witching day and all those witches put an end to the market's 8-day win streak. But, despite a witchy Friday, both the Nasdaq Composite Index and the Nasdaq Biotech Index closed a bit higher for the week and the Contest median was down only slightly. At Friday's close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 4.64% YTD (vs. up 4.34% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index closed the week up 11.93% YTD (vs. up 11.06% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median closed up 11.00% YTD (vs. up 11.37% YTD a week ago).
WYD's portfolio (up 38.56% YTD) held on to first place, but barely, with guess who's portfolio (up 37.63% YTD) just a nose behind. Maybe we should consider a handicap for RKRW next year?
At Friday's close, as was the case last week, 28 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black and 16 of the 32 were beating the NBI.
