Well, here's more refreshing honesty for you. We've had socialism in this country for a long time. This health bill is just an expansion of already existing socialist programs, if you want to call them that.

Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid...those are all programs that tax the broad base of citizens to provide universal benefits. You could call that socialism. Is it worth it? I'll let you decide. I personally feel that social security is not a good deal, but I think health care is a fundamental right. You can't build a life and even attempt to care for yourself and your family, if you don't have access to health care. It's simple Maslow's Heirarchy of needs. So in principal, I'm for health care, just like I'm for ensuring access to electricity and broadband Internet for everyone. Those are the basics.

What's wrong with that?
